| FUGU SPORTS® is a Swedish company founded on a genuine interest in the sport of climbing.In the beginning of 2000 Kenneth Marklund and Håkan Eklund were discussing how they could contribute to the world of climbing. As they also have newly been parents and wanted their own children to start climbing, they searched the market for easy and safe concepts for building climbingwalls for their kids. But they couldn´t found any! That was the beginning of Fugu Sports AB and the climbingholds ERGO HOLDS™ which is the trademark for the holds. Kenneth Marklund have competed with success both nationally and internationally and Håkan Eklund has long experience of international judging of climbing- competitions. They have both been climbing since 1990. FUGU SPORTS® are situated in the beautiful town of Skellefteå in the northern part of Sweden. Skellefteå has a long industrial and innovative tradition and FUGU SPORTS® is no exception.
